The Lexington Shakespeare Festival presents “Much Ado About Nothing” at the Arboretum this weekend, with a 1930s twist. The story centers on two pairs of lovers, the bickering Beatrice and Benedick and the starry-eyed Claudio and Hero. While Beatrice and Benedick’s friends have to plot to draw them together, the evil Don John aims to tear Hero and Claudio apart. Director Joe Ferrell has set the show in ‘30s Italy, and added music and dance of the era to spice up the show.

The play runs through July 16 at the Arboretum on Alumni  Drive, across from Commonwealth Stadium.
